92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Adrien Bergère’s “Origine” cuvée of non-vintage Brut is made from a blend of seventy percent chardonnay, twenty percent pinot noir and ten percent pinot meunier. A portion of the vins clairs for this bottling are aged in casks and foudres. The wine is from the base year of 2020 and was disgorged in January of 2023, with a finishing dosage of four grams per liter. Thirty percent of the cuvée is composed of reserve wines for this bottling. The wine offers up a beautifully refined and complex bouquet of pear, apple, fresh almond, brioche, a lovely base of chalky soil tones, dried flowers and just a hint of buttery oak. On the palate the wine is crisp, focused and full-bodied, with excellent depth of fruit at the core, impressive soil undertow, frothy mousse, a fine girdle of acidity and a long, complex and very nicely balanced finish. This is most impressive non-vintage Brut! 2024-2045. (Sep/Oct 2024)"

91 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The NV Champagne Origine Brut is based around the 2020 vintage and is mostly Chardonnay with 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier. The nose opens with a pretty and fruity profile, and it pours a medium yellow color, with aromas of fresh flowers, wet stones, white peach, and candied lemon. Medium-bodied and lively, it’s approachable and refreshing, with a clean, juicy feel, a spritely and refined mousse, and a clean finish. It’s a very appealing wine with a light saline finish to drink now or over the coming 5-7 years. Drink: 2024-2032. (12/20/24)"

90 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The NV Brut Origine, a blend of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier based on the 2021 vintage with 30% reserve wines, showcases its Chardonnay dominance with lovely notes of lemony Mirabelle tart, creamy and sunny. Tasted from an earlier disgorgement last year, it benefited from more time on lees, as its slenderness is now supported by a creamier mousse. Fine, lively bubbles elevate the wine's lemony brightness. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 2023. Drink: 2024-2030. (Dec 2024)"

This cuvée represents the “origin” of the family story and blends grapes from their three historic villages: Fèrebrianges, Etoges, and Congy. 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier. This wine rocks great flavors of creaminess, fresh baked bread and sourdough, all underpinned by smoky hints of mushorrom and an outstanding long finish. Dosage: 5g/L.
