92 points Wine & Spirits: "The Aubrys work with some of Champagne’s old local varieties, including arbane, petit meslier and fromenteau, which together make up five percent of this wine. A portion of the blend is chardonnay aged in used oak barrels (35 percent), and the balance is equal parts pinot noir and meunier. Half of the wine is from the 2017 vintage; the rest is a perpetual reserve that the brothers started in 1998. The flavors focus on red currants and green pear, red apples and wildflower honey, and though it might sound idiosyncratic, it all comes together in a way that sends a buzz of herbal acidity through the generous flavors, sparking their complexities. (Dec 2020)"

92 points James Suckling: "A smooth, gently round and nicely balanced Champagne dominant in pinot meunier, pinot noir and chardonnay to boot. It has attractive lemon citrus flavors and is really punchy, refined and gently nutty. A smooth, pastry-like texture comes to the fore on the finish. Drink now."

91 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$46 list] The NV Brut is gracious, elegant and so charming, as these Champagnes are. Gentle hints of orchard fruit, spice, dried flowers and mint are nicely lifted in this ethereal entry-level offering. Disgorged: May, 2021. Drink: 2021-2026. (Nov 2021)"

90+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The non-vintage Brut bottling from the brothers Pierre and Philippe Aubry is composed from a unique cépages of thirty percent each of chardonnay and pinot meunier, thirty-five percent pinot noir and five percent each of arbanne, petit meslier and pinot blanc. Half of the blend is from the base year of 2019 and the other half of the cuvée is from the solera the brothers created for this wine all the way back in 1998. The vins clairs undergo malo and a percentage of the chardonnay in the blend is raised in older casks, with everything else raised in stainless steel. It was disgorged in March of 2022 and finished with a dosage of six grams per liter. The wine offers up a lovely nose of white peach, apple, white flowers, bread dough, chalky soil tones and a nice topnote of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused and zesty, with a good core, pinpoint bubbles and a long, well-balanced and nicely complex finish. This is already quite tasty, but will be even better with a bit of bottle age. 2022-2035. (Jul/Aug 2022)"

90 points Wine Spectator: "Firm and tightly-knit, with a fine, zesty mousse and a subtle vein of smoky minerality layered accompanied by flavors of Mandarin orange peel, steeped apricot, lemon thyme and salted almond. Disgorged February 2021. Drink now. (11/15/21)"
