Dubois/Anne-Sophie Sans Detour Vin de France 2020

"Sans Detour" is comprised primarily of Gamaret--a grape created in Switzerland and a cross between Gamay and Reichensteiner--which oddly found its way to Beaujolais and in the hands of winemaker Anne-Sophie Dubois, who is known for making Fleuries that show the structure of Burgundy. Floral notes, red plums, dark plums, soft but kind of crunchy, red fruits that do not venture into tart, low tannins, high acids, violets and Alpine strawberries.
