The wine is balanced with a good amount of dark fruit intensity but no overtly jammy or baked fruit. That dense fruit wraps thickly over the palate, supported by backend aromas of charred spice and campfire embers. This is a blend of 45% Corvina Veronese, 45% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella and 5% Oseleta with 120 days of appassimento. Drink: 2022-2035. (Dec 2021)"

94 points James Suckling: "Very rich black fruit on the nose with a ground-base of blackcurrants, tainted with notes of prunes and dates. Smoky-spice notes add complexity. Full-bodied with intense, exotic black-fruit flavors, just as on the nose. Firm tannins and good acidity complete the picture. Good intensity and drive here.
