98 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "If you like sleek dry whites with enormous expression, then you won’t be able to resist this diamond-bright yet incredibly juicy dry riesling. Gigantic crushed rock minerality and super-racy acidity. Almost perfect balance in the incredibly long, focused finish. From five small plots of more than 50-year-old vines in this great but underrated site. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (5/19/25)"

96 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2023 Riesling Wineck-Schlossberg Grand Cru is from a steep, granitic site in the narrower valley of Katzenthal with less wind. Reduction and green-yellow lemon zest vie for attention on the nose. The palate is beautifully taut, with a zesty element that still swings with a touch of yeasty richness and texture but shows the hard stone underneath. This is exquisitely energetic, taut and chiseled. The 2023 is lip-smacking with a slightly phenolic, superbly clean-cut frame that reminds equally of red apple peel and citrus peel. (Bone-dry) Drink: 2028-2060. (Apr 2025)"

96 points La Revue du Vin de France: "In Riesling, Wineck-Schlossberg exudes bergamot, carried by a magnificent granite sparkle that stretches it out. (2026)"

94 points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "Good bright yellow. Very fruity on the nose offering hints of Mirabelle, melon, crystallized lemon peel, fresh herbs and a whiff of exotic fruits. Enters broad with glycerally sweet flavours of ginger, melon and apple that are long, precise and suave, nicely extended on the spicy finish by harmonious tapering acidity (5.4 g/L total acidity). These are probably forty years old vines and you can tell just by paying attention to the density and especially the wine’s length, but keep in mind that being a very sheltered site, the Wineck-Schlossberg also has a slightly warmer mesoclimate than other parts of the Katzenthal valley and neighbouring areas. Reportedly classically dry at only 2.6 g/L of residual sugar but so glycerally ripe it really tastes like it has more. Drinking window: 2029-2038. (10/17/25)"
