96 points Stephen Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The golden-amber colored 2002 Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl Vendange Tardive opens with intense fruit on the nose that is reminiscent of stewed and baked stone fruits intermingled with flinty stone aromas and saline notes. Fresh and vital on the palate, this is a rich but elegant and detailed, persistently saline and almost crystalline Pinot Gris with remarkable finesse and intensity on the finish that reveals concentrated and candied lemon aromas as well as fine tannin bitters. Very long and complex. Fabulous and still very, very young. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2023. Drink: 2023-2055. (Mar 2023)"
