96 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Off-the-scale salinity with great energy and drive, this is a very unusual Alsace pinot gris. Bone dry and very focused, but with richness on the middle of the medium- to full-bodied palate. Really needs some time. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2027. (5/19/25)"

95 points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "Bright straw yellow with some gold. Clean aromas of ripe stone fruits, sweet spices, toffee and strawberry. Then nicely pliant and creamy, with good breadth and freshness to its ripe, creamy core of orchard and even tropical fruit flavours. Finishes nicely long and with plenty of lift. Unlike the Rotenberg, there is no shadow effect in this site so this Pinot Gris wine always showcases the more solar side of this grape variety and wine, a situation magnified by the exposure to north-south wind currents. This means the Heimbourg Pinot Gris wine is always more generous and expressive than the more compact and tighter Pinot Gris wine from the Rotenberg, and so it is in this year. Aged in 100% new oak but as it’s a 6000 liter oak cask, you can hardly tell though there is a little tactile, youthful dryness that hints at the oak’s presence. Drinking window: 2027-2038. (10/17/25)"

95 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Without the same depth, the Heimbourg rolls over the tongue with more immediate indulgence. (2026)"

93 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).
