96 points Erin Larkin (Wine Advocate): "Sarah Crowe, and Yarra Yering specifically, is the safest bet you'll make all year. These wines are sublime (silly word, but it's the only one that properly encapsulates the style): alive, bright, shapely, long, elegant, of place, and most importantly, delicious. All of that applies to this 2017 Agincourt Cabernet Malbec. It's a beautiful, floral, vital wine. The tannins flow through the spicy red fruit, stopping for no breath. The acidity is saline and refreshing, highlighting the precision of fruit flavor in the mouth. I haven't even mentioned the aromatics, but they are the first foray into the palate and align with everything that the flavors show in the mouth. It cannot be overstated. This wine has fresh energy and will be long lived. Drink 2022-2042. (11/17/22)."

96 points James Suckling: "A rich and layered blend of 75% cabernet sauvignon and 25% malbec, this red shows a lovely softness and balance with rich, plummy aromas and flavors, as well as currants and spices. Cedar, too. Full body. Round tannins. Drink or hold. Screw cap. (05/20/19)."

94 points James Halliday (Wine Companion): "A 75/25% blend, hand-picked and sorted, 65% crushed and destemmed, 30% whole berry, 5% whole bunches, open-fermented, 10-14 days on skins, matured in used French oak. Malbec functions as shiraz does in conjunction with cabernet, in each case filling the mid-palate and softening the cabernet tannins if needs be. This is a luscious wine, but doesn't have the drive of its '17 siblings. (06/17/21)."

93 points Angus Hughson (Vinous): "The 2017 Cabernet Malbec Agincourt offers up plush, inky, violet and mulberry aromas, which are still bright and youthful. There is great balance between fleshy blueberry flavors and chalky tannins, with surprising elegance to finish. This will age well. Drink 2026-2038. (03/24)."
