93 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2024 Riesling Westhofener trocken this year was made from Morstein grapes only. It comes from vines that surround the GG parcels. Usually, this also contains grapes from Brunnenhäuschen, but Wittmann decided against that this year. A lovely sense of chervil and moss join a certain creaminess on the nose, while the cool palate plunges into a note of lemon zest. This is as mouthwatering as pale lemon peel. It is fresh, pure and bright, sinking deep into limestone-tinged coolness and freshness. An intense saltiness appears on the long, lemony finish. (Bone-dry) Drink: 2028-2050. (Jul 2025)"
