93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Cohn Vineyard was planted in 1970, making these good old vines now. This bottling is raised in two-thirds new oak and comes in at 13.8 percent octane in this vintage. The wine offers up a deep and complex bouquet of red and black cherries, raw cocoa, gamebird, black tea, a lovely base of soil tones, woodsmoke, gently musky floral tones and a very refined framing of new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and focused, with a lovely sense of sappiness in the core, excellent soil inflection and grip, fine-grained tannins and lovely balance on the long, complex and very classy finish. This is so beautifully balanced that it is approachable now, but really deserves five to ten years in the cellar to let its tannins disappear properly. Fine juice. 2025-2075. (Nov/Dec 2025)"
