95 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "From a vineyard planted in 1974 on AXR rootstock and all Martini heritage clone, a wild nose comes through on the 2022 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane Vineyard, which pours a jeweled red ruby color and is layered and savory, revealing compact aromas of resinous wild herbs, roasted thyme, black cherries, berries, leather, and dark forest floor. It’s medium-bodied but with broader shoulders, and it offers ripe, silky tannins and an expansive feel. Its supple texture and plush length make it very appealing now. Drink: 2025-2040. (6/27/24)"
93 points Wine Spectator: "Provides a lovely stream of lilac, hibiscus, cherry, mulberry and singed sandalwood aromas and flavors that stay in lockstep from start to finish, with nice underlying energy. Best from 2025 through 2033. 754 cases made. (9/30/24)"
Producer notes: "Black cherry top notes mix with tangerine peel and hints of leather and cedar. Interesting point-counterpoint elements that create an incredibly layered wine. The Olivet Lane Vineyard Pinot Noir is one of the few wines in our portfolio that is a single clonal selection, but the diversity of the site and the old vine character of nearly 50-year-old vines is what creates its richness and complexity. The wine builds on the palate with red fruits and peaks with black tea-like tannins and a citrus freshness."
