95 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane Vineyard has lush aromas of wild berry preserves, blood orange, potpourri, aniseed and dusty earth. The medium-bodied palate is layered and pure, with a gentle grainy grip, refreshing acidity and expansive, spicy fruit on the long finish. It's lovely straight from bottle but will age well over the next decade. 482 cases produced. Drink: 2020-2030. (Feb 2021)"

95 points PinotFile: "13.5% alc.. Moderately dark garnet color in the glass. A complex nose with blackberry, dark chocolate and earth aromas. A hearty core of blackest cherry and blackberry fruits with inviting undertones of earth and umami. Very polished with impeccable balance. Easygoing tannins make for good approachability now. A very honorable wine because it reflects both the clone (in this case Martini) and the unique terroir. Stellar when tasted the following day from a previously opened bottle. This beauty will grow on you over time in the glass. (8/22/21)"

Producer notes: "Olivet Lane Vineyard is unlike many of our vineyard designates in that it is made of a single clone of Pinot Noir called Martini. In a way, these old vines have adapted to the variation in the site over time to offer a diversity of aromas and flavors, showcasing concentration and depth. Black cherry notes and leathery undertones mix to create the classic Pinot perfume. English breakfast tea further adds to the intrigue on the nose. The palate highlights a dense core of fruit in the mid-palate with an overlay of tea-like tannins and fresh acidity that drives to the finish. Drink: 2022-2029. Alcohol 13.5%."
