96 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors, matured for 14 months in 74% new oak, is expressive even at this early stage. Wild blackberries and pomegranate unfold to tea leaves, pipe tobacco, licorice and graphite as it airs in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, chalky and seamless with concentrated yet understated fruit, and it has a very long, spicy finish. Give it 3-5 years in bottle. Drink 2025-2035 (Jun 2023)"

96 points James Suckling: "This is so succulent and savory with a finesse and brightness with crushed rock, dried strawberry and orange peel aromas and flavors. Hints of meat. Iodine. Feathery mouthfeel. Medium to full body. Lovely length and subtle complexity. Drink or hold. (Jun 2023)"

94 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "A semi-opaque ruby, the 2021 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors has a darker mineral profile and is rounded with ripe pine, black cherry preserve, violets, and sassafras. Medium to full-bodied, it has ripe tannins and a supple texture, as well as a long finish. Revealing notes of ripe black raspberry, cinnamon candy, and tea leaf, it’s ripe and elegant, with great purity on the palate. It has a lot of charm to drink now, and it will continue to drink well over the next 10 years. (Jul 2023)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "This has black cherry, pomegranate and plum pâte de fruit notes streaming through, underscored by hints of dark earth, black licorice and apple wood. Ends squarely on the fruit-driven side of the spectrum, but with the sparkly energy to match. Drink now through 2032. (Sep 2023)"

Producer notes: "Berry fruits and earthy notes combine in this deeply layered wine. Hints of lavender and dried flowers lift the aromatics while hints of citrus and vanilla brighten up its brooding nature. Soil inflected flavors along with red and black fruits mix with a sensation of citrus peel. The black tea like tannins give way to a gravelly, crushed rock finish. Pair the Eastside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir with more robust dishes to balance out the structure. Alcohol 13.8%. Optimal Drinking Window: 2024-2031."
