94 points Jonathan Cristaldi (Decanter): "Pale gold in colour, offering heady lemon curd, toasty oak and flinty aromas. Generous on entry, revealing salted lemon peel, candied ginger, and quince with firm, yet juicy acidity and a fantastic long finish marked by a distinct crushed-stone minerality. Grapes come from the tiny, 0.8-hectare organic and biodynamically farmed enclosed vineyard in the Clos du Prieure Monopole climat in Vougeot, a stone’s throw from Clos de Vougeot—literally and the childhood backyard of Jean-Charles Boisset. It is also the flagship estate of the Boisset family. Harvested according to the biodynamic calendar, on September 5 - a 'flower' day, then aged 16 months in Allier and Cîteaux barrels and two months in stainless steel. Drinking Window: 2021-2030. (Jun 2021)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Vougeot Le Clos du Prieuré Blanc 1er Cru comes from a parcel near the Vouge River, which unfortunately leaves the vines vulnerable to hungry ducks. The bouquet is well defined with a little more mineral tension than the Beaune Blanc tasted alongside. The well-balanced palate offers passion fruit and pineapple notes and a fine bead of acidity; the prudent 20% new oak is just right. Excellent. Drink: 2021-2033. (Jan 2020)"
