The bouquet delivers a refined aromatic constellation of sweet dark berries, cassis, bonfire, venison, bitter chocolate, dark soil tones, cedar and a lovely topnote of violet. On the palate the wine is precise, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with lovely sappiness of black fruit at the core, excellent soil undertow, ripe, seamless tannins and a long, tangy and concentrated finish. This is going to be excellent, but needs bottle age to blossom. 2033-2085. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
