It is also the most complete Brunello. The bouquet opens to dark fruit aromas with plum and blackberry at the front. Those aromas slowly break down to reveal spice, leather and tobacco. Drying mineral and terra-cotta appears in delicate layers at the back. The wine is plush, soft and rich. Only 5,000 bottles are produced. Drink: 2017-2027. (Feb 2017)"
