99 points Matthew Luczy (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Viñedo Chadwick is a spectacular wine from front to back, opening with a refined, poised and perfumed nose that seamlessly combines floral-herbal and toasted dark-fruited aromas with ever-increasing complexity. The palate is svelte and seamless, exuding a perfectly textured polish with a rich yet composed intensity. It explodes into a long, layered, paradoxically energetic and yet slow-moving finish, remaining perfectly focused while expanding horizontally and vertically with an ultra-refined, impeccable tannin structure. The combination of the obvious exactitude that goes into this wine and the outstanding nature of this vintage have made a bona fide modern classic. The blend is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot, aged for 22 months in 80% new barrels and 20% foudre. Drink 2014-2043. (03/13/25)."

99 points Tim Atkin, MW: "The 2018 Chadwick is the best release yet from this polo field turned world-class vineyard, more immediately open and appealing than the 2017 was at the same stage,. Elegant and ethereal, with no sign of tell-tale Chilean eucalyptus, it’s a red that could easily be slipped incognito into tasting of top Bordeaux Crus Classés. More Margaux than Pauillac in style, with raspberry and red cherry fruit and supple, fine-grained tannins, it marries Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot to superb effect. The 80% new wood is a whisper rather than a shout, the structure chalky and acid-focused, the palate nuanced and refined. You could almost drink this now, but it will reward patience. 2023-2035. (2021)."

98 points Joaquin Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2018 Viñedo Chadwick is a wine made during a perfect year in which a wet winter was followed by a mild spring and similarly nild harvest period. Considered one of the great vintages in Chile, the balance and intensity achieved in Puente Alto DO offers one of the best versions for the last 20 years: a combination of the ideal climate with graveal soils defined a perfect maturity for Cabernet Sauvignon. Viñedo Chadwick, with a 3%dash of Petit verdot, was 80%aged in French barrels and the rest in foudres for 22 months. It is garnet red with a purple sheen in the glass. it has a complex nose of herbs, blackcurrant, sour cherry and licorice over a bed of blackberry, cedar and orange petit fours. Broad but smooth, it develops a good juiciness and depth with balanced flavor and tension while the richness and acidity combine harmoniously with the 13.5% alcohol. Drink 2022-2042. (August 2022)."

98 points James Suckling: "The aromas show blackcurrant, pine-tree, violet and light spearmint character. Full-bodied, yet reserved and tight with fine, creamy tannins. Hints of currants and fresh herbs. Extremely long and layered. Try after 2022. (2/21/20)"
