97 points James Suckling: "This almost has a “minty” freshness from the oak with some pine cones, incense and dark spices to the cassis and sweet tobacco. Vibrant and juicy on the full-bodied palate with spiced berries, good tension and very structured, fine-grained tannins. The amount of juiciness here is quite rare for 2020. Very long and spicy finish. 76% cabernet sauvignon and 24% cabernet franc. 50% Barroir new oak (French barrel toasted with local oak trees from the property). Excellent effort from 2020. Grilled sandalwood on the opening beats, lifted immediately by peony flowers aromatics, this has bright acidties and good freshness, alongside rich tar, cocoa bean, espresso, vanilla. This was a hot vintage in Chile, and the silky texture to the tannins is given extra grip and length by the plentiful baked spices. Enjoyable wine, slight preference for me remains the excellent 2019 vintage. Second year on the Place for a wine that comes from vineyards planted owner Alexander Vik on entirely virgin land in Millahue. Cristian Vallejo winemaker, aged in a mix of oak and amphora.
