Peter Veyder-Malberg is one the Wachau's low-key top-notch winemakers. He works quietly and diligently in his small cellar perched upon a picturesque slope in the town of Spitz. Although his winemaking is considered 'hands-off,' every step of the winemaking process is given utmost attention to detail and it shows resulting in some of the region's most exquisite and mineral-driven expressions of Grüner and Riesling. 2021 was nothing short of an exceptional vintage, delivering wines of fine precision, intense mineral qualities, and impressive complexity.
