92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This exotic wine has aromas of ripe peach and quince with a note of honey and spice. The texture is notable for its richness and depth. The south-facing slopes that ripen well were picked on 18 September before the rains. Typically this cuvée is based on La Côte Rôtie (a south-facing slope in Davayé at the foot of le rocher de Vergisson), along with others such as Les Terres Noires, Chataigniers, and Saint-Claude (more limestone, in the village of Prissé). This year, however, Les Crays and Les Vignes-Dessus entered the blend as well. Drinking Window: 2023-2033. (Nov 2022)"
90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "One of the range's standouts, the 2021 Saint-Véran Lieu (Inter)dit delivers aromas of citrus oil, pear, white flowers and fresh bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, seamless and textural palate that's ample and enveloping, underpinned by racy acids. Drink: 2022-2030. (Sep 2022)"
