93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Along with the old vine Pouilly-Fuissé Les Combes, this is my favourite wine in this cellar in 2021. The attack is more mineral and citrus-driven; behind those initial aromas, there is ripe apple and apricot and hints of hay and beeswax. In short, there is textbook Verget richness, but there is still plenty of acidity to balance everything out. The grapes are from a southeast-facing terroir in Vergisson; the grapes are fermented in 25% new casks, but the wood is easily integrated in this substantial wine. Drink: 2025-2040. (Nov 2022)"

92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Unwinding in the glass with aromas of crisp stone fruit, buttery pastry, white flowers and fresh bread, the 2021 Pouilly-Fuissé La Roche is medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with a layered core of fruit, bright acids and a long, saline finish. It has turned out very well, indeed. Drink: 2022-2032. (Sep 2022)"

90 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Once again generous wood fights with the ripe and very fresh aromas of Granny Smith apples, citrus confit, fennel, tea and pretty floral nuances. The rich, concentrated and moderately powerful medium-bodied flavors exude a subtle bead of minerality that add a sense of lift to the solidly long but not especially complex finale. This balanced effort should repay mid-term keeping and during that time, be successful in adding depth. Drink: 2028+. (Oct 2022)"
