96 points Tim Atkin, MW: "A daring, left-field Chardonnay that's grown on the edge of the Atacama Desert, this is consistently among Chile's most exciting whites. Fermented in stone eggs and untoasted foudres, it's leesy, savoury and effortlessly complex, with notes of pear, lanolin and citrus and a spine of chalky, limestone-derived acidity. 2024-2028. (2024)"

95 points Patricio Tapia (Descorchados): "The base of this wine is from the Longomilla Vineyard, about 29 kilometers from the sea on the south bank of the Huasco River in the Huasco Valley, some 670 kilometers north of Santiago, in the Atacama Desert. The alluvial soils are rich in salt and calcium carbonate, which yield a very fresh chardonnay with saline tones. The creamy texture is marked by sharp acidity, and the flavors are citrusy and herbal. One of those chardonnays that make you think of grilled scallops. (Jan 2024)"

94 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2022 Chardonnay Tara, sourced from the Atacama Desert, was fermented in foudres and concrete eggs. Bottled with a touch of cloudy lees, it delivers aromas of herbs, wet stone and pineapple with a hint of ginger. Ample, creamy and chalky, it tightens as it flows, becoming compact at the back of the throat. This is a refreshing, saline Chardonnay from Chile. Drink 2024-2031. (Jul 2024)"

93 points James Suckling: "An idiosyncratic chardonnay with a cloudy hue, exhibiting notes of salted lemons, chalk, eggshells, subtle lees and apple peel on the nose. Deliciously saline on the palate, with bright acidity and pretty, concentrated flavors. This is long and quite unique. Drink now or hold. (9/12/24)"
