The palate is supple, polished and poised, with a ripe substance, but at its heart there is a lovely freshness and acidity to it, giving it a fine lift. A very classic style, lightly bitter but still welcoming, supple and lightly creamed. Overall this has a good style and it feels convincingly fresher than the 2018 vintage. (Feb 2020)"
