The bouquet shows plenty of old vine depth in its mix of red and black raspberries, fruitcake, hung game, pepper, bonfire, a fine base of soil tones and gentle notes of garrigue in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and shows impressive depth at the core, with fine soil undertow, moderate, well-integrated tannins, fine balance and a long, complex and promising finish. This is already approachable at three years of age, but does still have an undercarriage of tannin that a few more years in the cellar would soften up nicely. 2024-2035. (Sep/Oct 2024)"
