97 points James Suckling: "Lots of incense to the aromas with sandalwood and lavender. Currants, blackberries. and fresh herbs, too. Full-bodied and very rich, with a powerful, structured mid-palate and a long, long finish. A wine for the future. Needs four to five years to soften. Try after 2026. (12/1/22)"

96 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot, the 2020 Giusto di Notri is a ripe, bold and generous wine. The DNA of the wine has changed slightly over the years to favor the Cabernet Franc (with an increased percentage) over the Merlot, which has fallen from a previous high of about 35% to 40% of the blend a decade ago. What I like about this wine is that it manages an elegant, almost understated interpretation of a hot and dry vintage. The tannins are especially well managed in this situation. In 2020, Tua Rita's harvest was finished by October 6th. Drink: 2024-2040. (5/31/23)"

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$100 list] The nose offers seemingly infinite layers, first showing tiny wild blueberries and mulberries, then violets and peonies, then a soft, soothing earth element comes in, with a final tangy, peppery aroma. On the palate, sweeter, darker berries spar with continued astringent notes, while silky tannins blanket everything with the distinctive mouthfeel of Tua Rita. Alcohol 15.5%. (Dec 2023)"

96 points Falstaff Guide: "Powerful, bright ruby red. Clear and precise fruit, some tobacco and leather up front, then lots of dark berry fruit. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, showing lots of fine-mesh tannin, firm drive, some liquorice, plus lots of cassis, very long finish. (10/17/22)"

93 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$100 list] A concentrated, supple red, delivering black currant, blackberry, iron, earth and toasty spice flavors. While backed by a spine of firm, dense tannins, this remains balanced and long in its youthful manner. Give this two to three more years in the cellar. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2026 through 2042. (10/15/23)"
