97+ points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "The Trimbach 2019 Riesling Frédéric Emile Alsace is already superb at this young age and has all the elements in place for future greatness. Bright straw-green in colour. The captivating nose offers perfumed aromas of lime, lemon sherbert, jasmine, anise, chamomile, parsley, and white peach, complicated by fresh mineral nuances. Boasts powerful but harmonious acidity nicely framing flavours similar to the aromas. Very snappy and precise on the long rising finish, which features hints of orange zest and white peach and noteworthy minerality. A beautiful Frédéric Emile in the making, buy this by the case and cellar accordingly, as this will evolve nicely for another twenty-five years easily. Drinking window: 2028-2044. (3/17/25)"

97 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "This great dry Alsace riesling has hugely generous, irresistible aromas of fresh and candied citrus fruit, together with white and yellow peaches. Very chalky and concentrated on the medium- to full-bodied palate. The very long, deeply structured finish makes it plain that this masterpiece is just beginning to give its best! From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (12/30/24)"

96 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Riesling Frédéric Emile is precise and savory on the nose, blending the ripe and intense fruit of the Geisberg with a rather coolish and purely mineral or rocky tone of the Osterberg (?) that is reminiscent of melting salts. Tight and with lots of tannins on the palate, this is a full-bodied, highly energetic and vivacious Riesling with a long and tensioned as well as complex finish that pairs the ripe and dense fruit with structural elements to create something new and impressive. It's very long and saline yet still too tight to be opened today. 14.1% stated alcohol. Tasted at Trimbach in November 2024. Drink: 2040-2060. (Feb 2025)"

96 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The invigorating Frederic-Emile is one of his most successful creations, bursting with brightness and intensity, endowed with a rare bitterness. (2026)"
