95 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Small berries and sandalwood fill the well-balanced Nuits-Les Murgers, whose elegant mouthfeel highlights the pure expression and the delicious velvety tannins. (2024)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Murgers bottling from Madame Tremblay is stunning. The bouquet is again marvelously pure and black fruity in personality, jumping from the glass in a blaze of black plums, black cherries, raw cocoa, pigeon, a gorgeous base of dark soil tones, woodsmoke and cedary oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, seamless and sappy at the core, with great transparency and grip, ripe, buried tannins, superb balance and a long, focused and magically complex finish. 2033-2085. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

94 points/'Very Fine,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Murgers is a beauty, like several other wines from this vineyard in this vintage (the Hospice de Nuits version should be mentioned). Murgers seems to have a certain glow and energy in 2021. It’s filled with energy and tension, and has deep, intense fruit. These wines are some of the gems of this difficult vintage. What a hedonistic treat! Drink from 2033. (11/21/22)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A fine depth of mid crimson, a little more volume of fruit, with the slight Vosne influence found at the northern end of Nuits. Certainly, this is more in red fruit than plums. This continues through to the back of the palate, with more density, a few tannins yet still all the finesse,. Drink from 2027-2033. (Nov 2022)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Murgers 1er Cru is (again), delineated and poised on the nose, dark berry fruit mixed with light crushed limestone scents, hints of orange rind. The palate is taut and focused, a silver bead of acidity here with quite a lively, black pepper tinged finish that has plenty of vigour. Very fine. Drink: 2025-2040. (Jan 2023)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "There are only two (used) barrels of the 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Murgers, a vineyard that tends to have early budbreaks and was thus especially impacted by frost this year. Revealing aromas of red berries, orange rind, baking chocolate and vanilla pod, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with racy acids and a long, vibrant finish. Given the derisory yield, it's no surprise that this is an especially concentrated, intense Murgers. (Jan 2023)"
