90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard, containing 20–30% whole bunch, has a soft and gentle bouquet of black currant, red plum and crushed stone aromas that needs a little coaxing from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a wonderful bead of acidity, making this Morey one of the most elegant village crus I have encountered. This comes recommended. Drink: 2022-2032. (Jan 2020)"
91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The domaine’s 2018 Morey St. Denis 'Trés Girard' is an excellent village wine. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a very expressive blend of black cherries, sweet dark berries, roasted venison, chalky soil tones, bitter chocolate, bonfire and toasty oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full and nicely ripe, with an excellent core of sappy fruit, lovely mineral undertow, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and very refined finish. Lovely juice in the making. 2024-2055. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
