93 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Cécile Tremblay's sumptuous Chambolle hails from three village parcels - Les Fremières, Les Maladières and Aux Echanges - with an average age of 40 years. One of a number of very impressive wines from this young winemaker in 2017, it's a focussed, beautifully weighted Pinot Noir with stylish 20% new wood and a tangy, mineral-edged finish. Drinking Window: 2022-2028. (Nov 2018)"

93 points (16.5/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "Chiseled but a little more meaty, the Chambolle-Musigny offers a refined bite. (2020)"

92 points James Suckling: "Rose and blueberry with light cocoa and cedar-wood aromas. This is leafy and spicy. The palate is coolly composed and has dark cherry and blueberry with a fine-grained tannin texture. Very even and settled. Drink over the next six years. (12/14/20)"

91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "It was nice to see the fine Chambolle AC back in the domaine’s lineup this year after the severe frost damage to it last year. The 2017 is a beautiful young wine that shows excellent depth on both the nose and palate and was clearly limited in its potential vigor by Madame Tremblay. The wine offers up a lovely, sappy bouquet of red and black cherries, plums, raw cocoa, chalky soil tones, gamebird, woodsmoke and smoky oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, sappy and very refined in personality, with good soil signature, fine-grained tannins and a long, vibrant and perfectly balanced finish. Lovely juice. 2024-2055. (Nov/Dec 2018)"
