97 points Kerin O'Keefe: "Capturing the supreme finesse this celebrated cru is known for as well as the vibrance, great fruit and balance of the fantastic vintage, the fragrant Trediberri 2021 Rocche dell’Annunziata is a beautiful wine. It imparts intense aromas of violet, dog rose, wild berry, dark spice and menthol while the full-bodied, elegant and delicious palate delivers ripe Morello cherry, raspberry compote, licorice and mint. It’s well balanced, with taut, refined tannins and fresh acidity. Drink 2031–2041. (Feb 2025)"

97 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The 2021 Barolo Rocche Dell'Annunziata is a medium red color and offers gorgeous, pure aromas of anise, fresh cherries, pressed flowers, wet stones, and graphite on the nose. A powerful vintage, but within La Morra, it has real structure, with velvety, ripe tannins, fully dry, even acidity, and a long finish, with just a hint of sunny darker fruits and purple flowers. Since I last tasted this a year ago, it’s come into focus and offers lots of clarity. It will likely continue to improve over the coming 20 or more years. Drink 2025-2045 (May 2025)"

96 points James Suckling: "A complex wine with aromas of licorice, cinnamon, red currants and sweet violets. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows elegant, velvety tannins of rare finesse at this point of evolution, with long, refreshing acidity and a lavish finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026 or 2027. (Jan 2025)"

95 points Michaela Morris (Decanter): "The estate’s 1.22ha in Rocche dell'Annunziata abut Bartolo Mascarello and Roberto Voerzio’s holdings. Like the former, Nicola Oberto doesn’t ‘top’ vines (cutting off the tips of new shoots) in the summer, asserting that he can now harvest later with lower pH. Alas, spring frost and the dry summer reduced yields by half in 2021, but there is no compromise of quality in this charismatic and self-assured Barolo. Aromas of mint, tar and ginseng speak to earthy rather than fruity pleasures. Ample in dark currant fruit and voluminous in chalky tannins, this saturates the mouth yet a brightness of acid keeps it buoyant and flowing. Simmering hints of black tea and gingerbread are waiting to explode. Only 3,500 bottles produced. Drinking window 2027-2042 (Jan 2025)"

94+ points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a wild, exotic wine endowed with freakishly sumptuous fruit, the result of a brutal frost that wiped out 50% of the crop. Intense red-toned fruit, pomegranate, blood orange and sweet floral notes build into a crescendo of aromas, flavors and textures. The 2021 is a stylistic outlier here, in all the best ways. The Rocche spent 27 months in cask. Drink 2027-2041 (Jan 2025)"
