91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The old vine Ostrea bottling of Gevrey AC is also excellent in 2021, with just a touch more inherent elegance and refinement than the straight villages. The lovely bouquet delivers a classic blend of sweet dark berries, black plums, a nice touch of sweet stem tones, bitter chocolate, dark soil tones, woodsmoke and just a hint of oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, complex and shows off lovely depth at the core, with good soil signature and grip, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and elegant finish. Lovely wine. 2028-2065. (Nov/Dec 2022)"
90 points/'Very Good+,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Gevrey Ostrea is a special cuvee made with a high percentage of millerandage grapes from the best village plots. Please note that the old-vine plot planted back in 1913 is no longer a part of Ostrea from 2020 (see below). Very delicate in the 2021 vintage, this is organic and airy with an effortless feel. As always a treat, but a lighter version. Drink from 2027. (11/23/22)"
