95 points Tim Atkin, MW: "After a wipe out in 2013, when no wine was made, this Premier Cru is back with a flourish in 2014. Boasting 50% whole bunches, it’s sappy, textured and rich, with savoury tannins, good grip and plenty of fig and blackberry fruit supported by bright acidity. 2017-27. (2016)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Jean-Louis Trapet decided to use fifty percent whole clusters for his Petite Chapelle this year and the wine is outstanding. The superb nose delivers a vibrant and fairly red fruity constellation of red plums, red and black cherries, cocoa powder, a very elegant base of soil, gamebirds, a touch of vanillin oak and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-boi9ded and silky on the attack, with a superb core, a very refined personality, suave tannins and excellent length and grip on the focused and nascently complex finish. Petite Chapelle is always one of the most refined premier crus in the village and this quality has perfectly dovetailed with the style of the 2014 vintage. 2021-2060. (Nov/Dec 2015)"
