93 points & 'Five Stars' Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "Further up the hill above La Montagne. Three terroirs within the plot, one like La Montagne, one straight on the rock, and one with more clay up at the top. 100% whole bunch vinification, though as usual Camille cuts out the thick end of the main stem. The Clos Magny starts clearly as a whole bunch wine but seconds later the real fruit bounds out of the glass, bramble jelly, this is remarkable on the palate, with an effortless sense of structure and a fine tingle of acidity. The quality of the fruit is not quite as ethereal as Les Retraits but it doesn’t need to be. Remarkable wine. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted Nov 2024."

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Côte de Nuits-Villages Clos Magny comes from the highest vineyard with three types of soil. Wow. What a nose. Raspberry, cranberry and light potpourri scents unfold with an underlying mineralité that would do a Premier Cru proud. The 100% whole bunch is beautifully integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, very well structured and just a tad Rhône-like towards the persistent, slightly sanguinous finish. This is stunning though it requires some bottle age. Drink 2027-2040 (Aug 2025)"
