90 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The very affordable 2017 Románico was cropped from one of the earliest harvests ever. It was produced with the grapes from younger vineyards, 10 to 35 years old, fermented with their own strain of yeasts and matured in second use French oak barrels and tank (some 40% of the volume) for some six months on average, depending on the lot. It's a fruit-driven, happy and expressive Tempranillo, with a mixture of red and black fruit. It has a soft palate with a tender texture, juicy and very tasty. 150,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2019. Drink: 2020-2023. (Dec 2019)"
