95 points Peter Moser (Falstaff): "Pale greenish yellow, silver reflections. Delicate yellow tropical fruit, a hint of bell peppers, delicate cassis and herbs, inviting savouriness. Taut, tightly woven, white apple, racy acidity, very lively and animating, white nougat in the aftertaste, a full-bodied food companion, salty lime seaweed in the finish. (6/24/24)"
94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Aged in large Styrian oak casks for 30 months, the 2021 Ried Sernau König GSTK exhibits the coolish soul of the cru that faces the Kor Alps to the west and combines intense but elegant and coolish fruit aromas with savory herbal (dill, woodruff, basil, oregano) and gravelly notes. On the palate, this is a rich but elegant, refined and fresh, very intense and powerful but tightly structured and saline-finishing Sauvignon with delicate bitters and ripe, crunchy tannins. The finish is intense and concentrated, still on the greenish side but full of energy, power and tension. It's impressive. 14% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the domaine in April 2025. Drink: 2026-2045. (6/26/25)"
