91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This sample of Taittinger “La Française” non-vintage Brut was tasted from half bottle. The cépages is its customary forty percent chardonnay, thirty-five percent pinot noir and twenty-five percent pinot meunier and was aged three years on its fine lees. The wine offers up a lovely nose of apple, pear, chalky soil tones, bread dough and a topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and focused, with a good core and soil undertow, elegant mousse and a long, complex and very nicely balanced finish. This is very tasty and should age well over the mid-term. 2023-2035. (May/Jun 2023)"
91 points Essi Avellan, MW: "Stylish toast-complexed nose with plenty of fresh fruit, charred and gunpowdery notes. Fresh and succulent on the refined palate of fine fruit purity. Pristinely clean and full of fruit. Very long and comes with a perfectly balanced generous dosage. Elegant, light style but with emerging depth. Benefits from one to three years on cork. Recently tasted from a several years' old jeroboam and the wine was simply stunning. (Jun 2024)"
90 points Wine Spectator: "[$75 list] Sleek and mouthwatering, this appealing, aperitif-style Champagne offers flavors of poached quince, preserved lemon, ginger biscuit and oyster shell that ride the fine and creamy mousse. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Drink now. (11/30/25)"
