93 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Calcáreo Río de los Chacayes comes from sandy soils and rive stones. It fermented in 5,000-liter oak cask and 3,000-liter amphorae concrete and then matured in the cask for one winter. It's ripe at 14.3% alcohol and rounder, with more fruit and softer tannins, an easier wine that is less mineral and gentler. 6,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2021. Drink: 2022-2027. (11/30/22)"
93 points Zekun Shuai (JamesSuckling.com): "Ripe black cherries, blackberries and a touch of dark spices. Fine-grained and firm on the palate with dusty tannins and a medium to full body. Generous fruit, but well-balanced and tight. Drink or hold. (2/1/24)"
