94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I have loved Aurélien Suenen’s wines from the very first that I tasted, but in earlier days, he had often lowered the dosage of his various bottlings so much that they absolutely demanded (at least to my palate) extended cellaring time before the fine acids of Cramant relaxed enough for the wines to loosen up structurally and drink with generosity. Happily, in recent times, he has increased the dosage just a touch, so that for example, this bottling from the base year of 2014 was finished at two grams per liter back in the day, but the current release, from the base year of 2018, carries four grams per liter. The wine was disgorged in October of 2021 and has really started to stretch its wines since I last tasted it in November of last year. It delivers a beautiful young bouquet of pear, golden delicious apple, white lilies, orange blossoms, complex limestone minerality and a hint of crème patissière starting to poke through in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with a rock solid core of fruit, pinpoint bubbles, excellent mineral drive and grip, zesty acids and a long, focused and supremely elegant finish. This is stellar. 2025-2055+. (Sep/Oct 2025)"
93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Based on the 2018 vintage, the NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru C + C is the usual blend of Cramant and Chouilly, as its name indicates. Bursting with aromas of citrus oil mingled with white flowers, almond paste and bread dough, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with impressive structuring extract, concluding with a long, sapid finish. Drink: 2022-2038. (8/31/22)"
