95-97 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Advocate): "The Château Suduiraut 2014 may well be one of the best Sauternes of the vintage. This year, it is a blend of 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc with a healthy 145 grams per liter residual sugar and 4.5 grams per liter total acidity. It needed some coaxing on the nose so I afforded the sample five minutes of rigorous swirling. It was worth the effort as it reveals intense clear honey and mineral scents that possess exquisite definition, one of those aromatics that stop you in your tracks. The palate is clean and fresh with vibrant acidity, great depth and power as it fans out in glorious fashion on the bravura finish. The phrase “It will knock your socks off” comes to mind, so wear a couple of pairs. Drink: 2019-2045. (4/29/15)"
96 points Wine Enthusiast: "Intense and ripe, this is a superb wine from a top Sauternes estate. It has all the expected elements, including concentrated botrytis and honeyed flavors. Seville orange and lemon notes provide contrast, as does its acidity, which is just as intense as the honey character. It will age well, so drink from 2025. Alcohol 14%. (Dec 2017)"
96 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2014 Suduiraut is an impressive Sauternes, with exquisite definition on the nose with quince, yellow plum and marmalade, demonstrating more precision than the Rieussec alongside. The palate is taut and focused, armed with a silver bead of acidity, precise and sharp with orange zest, apricot and quince towards the harmonious and almost penetrating finish. Outstanding. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year-On tasting. Drink: 2024-2050. (Mar 2024)"
95 points Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux): "(50% Sémillon, 50% Sauvignon Blanc). Tawny gold at the 10 year point, beautifully concentrated butterscotch and silky lemon peel and citrus, powerfully poised and lifted, great quality. 50% new oak, 150g/l residual sugar. Alcohol 14%. Drink: 2024-2040. (2/1/24)"
95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "Vivid and wonderfully alive in the glass, the 2014 Suduiraut boasts striking textural richness and remarkable balance. Dried flowers, chamomile, lemon confit and apricot jam are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass, but above all else, the 2014 is compelling for its striking interplay of intensity and freshness. Layers of flavor build to the inviting, creamy finish. This is a superb showing from Suduiraut. Drink: 2019-2034. (Feb 2017)"
94 points Ian D'Agata (Decanter): "Marmalade botrytis and smoke mix with ripe peach and honeyed pineapple. Complex and rich, with mouthcoating flavours of ripe peach, mango, honeycomb and tapioca. Rare unctuous quality for Suduiraut in 2014. Drinking Window: 2020-2045. (4/12/15)"
94 points James Suckling: "Candied citrus and pineapple drizzled with acacia honey is how this smells and tastes, and the wine is rich and creamy with excellent concentration. Powerful and flavorful finish. Drink or hold. (2/13/17)"
