94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This is super-classic Chablis with a lightly milky, cheesy nose and a firm, chalky texture. Fine spice, paper ream, wet seashells and pear swirl across the chiselled palate and into the refined finish. These are 39 year-old vines and the fruit sees exclusively stainless steel. (2025)"
90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 2.74 ha parcel in Montée de Tonnerre proper and Pied d'Aloup). An elegant and airy nose freely reveals its aromas of lemon-lime, tidal pool and spice-inflected pear and apple scents. The super-sleek, intense and equally attractively textured flavors culminate in a bone-dry, youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This could use more depth but the potential is clearly present. I would add that this refined effort is quite classy. Drink: 2030+. (Oct 2024)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Very pretty – but these are smaller and more guarded aromatics today. But beautiful in the mouth – that’s pure and mineral. Excellent wine – today just a nose short of a great wine – lovely chalky finish too… (3/1/25)"
