93 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 2.74 ha parcel in Montée de Tonnerre proper and Pied d'Aloup). A discreet but perceptible dose of wood can be found on the cool floral, pear confit, tidal pool and iodine-scented nose. The refined, intense and wonderfully sleek medium weight flavors flash a bracing salinity on the classy, balanced and wonderfully persistent finale. This chiseled effort is a relatively powerful MdT and like several wines in the range, possesses a genuinely lovely texture. Recommended. Drink: 2026+. (Nov 2020)"

92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru is intense on the nose, showing a little reduction, although that soon blows away to reveal lime, yellow plum and light crushed stone aromas. The palate is fresh on the entry, with more edge than the Vaillons and Vaucoupin that I tasted alongside. Similarly, there is a tang of salinity toward the finish that keeps this Chablis alert and fresh, showing decent persistence on the finish. Very fine. Drink: 2022-2034. (Sep 2020)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Domaine Servin’s 2019 Montée de Tonnerre is produced from vines that range from thirty-five to fifty-five years of age and raised entirely in stainless steel tank. The wine is again quite svelte for the vintage, tipping the scales at 12.5 percent and delivering a refined aromatic constellation of lemon, apple, limestone minerality, white flowers, citrus peel and just a hint of paraffin in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and classically proportioned, with a full body, excellent core, snappy acids and a very long, complex, mineral-driven and wellbalanced finish. This is excellent, but I would give it a few years in the cellar to unwind. 2024-2050. (Jan/Feb 2022)"
