93 points Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux): "(47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot). A lovely vintage of Senejac, plummy dark fruits, luscious cocoa bean and espresso, edges of rosemary and sage, good stuff. Eric Boissenot consultant, Bignon-Cordier family owners. Alcohol 14%. Drink: 2026-2034. (1/7/25)"

91-93 points Jeff Leve (The Wine Cellar Insider): "With notes of flowers, blackberries, black currants, and black raspberries on the nose, you get a concentrated, round, dark-fruited, rich wine with more of those sweet, juicy black fruits in the finish along with a hint of chocolate and spicy espresso that comes in at the end of the finish. The wine blends 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. 13.5% ABV. Drink from 2025-2035. (May 2023)"

92 points Chris Kissack (The Wine Independent): "A property run by the Jean-Michel Laporte of Talbot, this is 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. This shows a sweet and polished sense of harmony on the nose, with threads of redcurrant, red cherry and liquorice, with some appealing floral nuances suggestive of peony. This hold together very well on the palate, with a seductively juicy core of savoury fruits, a fresh backbone of rich, tightly knit, dense tannins, and a little spicy oak. Fresh acidity with a sense of completeness and nice potential here, a feeling which runs through to the finish of powdery fruit, oak and tannin. This is delightful. The alcohol on the label is 14%. (6/5/25)"

92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2022 Senejac captures all the best the year had to offer. Ripe and fleshy yet also quite vibrant, the 2022 impresses with its balance. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, licorice, spice, menthol and mocha fill out the layers as the wine builds into a long, beautifully sustained finish. Drink: 2027-2042. (Jan 2025)"

90-92 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Sénéjac has turned out very well and looks to be the best wine this estate has produced since 2009. Offering up aromas of sweet minty cassis, petals and pencil shavings, it's medium-bodied, velvety and seamless, with a fresh core of fruit and a flavorful finish. Drink: 2025-2042. (3/6/25)"

91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Sénéjac has a bold, ripe bouquet, quite modern in style as a veneer of new oak complements blackberry, blueberry and violet scents. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe tannins, powerful black fruit and a seam of dark chocolate towards the finish. Maybe this was pushed just a little during élevage? A second bottle did not show as well as the first and was deemed unrepresentative. Drink: 2027-2050. (Feb 2025)"
