95 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "Selosse’s NV Blanc de Blancs Cramant Chemin de Châlons, based on the 2017 vintage and disgorged in January 2024 with one gram per liter dosage, introduced my tasting through the lieux-dits of Jacques Selosse. Derived from a south-facing site in Cramant, near the border of Avize, it’s a historical vineyard of the domaine, planted around 1938 and a source for the estate’s massal selection. Leaping from the glass with aromas of toasted nuts, spices and candied lemon peel, it is followed by a muscular yet chalky palate. It’s more ample and less taut than Les Carelles in Le Mesnil, sharing more stylistic similarities with Les Chantereines in Avize. As with all the single-vineyard expressions, it’s complemented by the perpetual reserve component, which in the case of Chemin de Chalons dates back to 2002. Drink: 2024-2036. (12/19/24)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The NV (2017) Extra-Brut Cramant Chemin de Chalons is a very sexy wine. Rich, sumptuous and super-expressive, the Cramant offers tons of immediacy but is tempered by bright, saline notes that bring it all together on the finish. Hints of citrus confit, hazelnut, chamomile and light honeyed overtones grace this exquisite edition of the Cramant. It’s the most expressive of the Chardonnay lieux-dits today. Dosage is 1.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 23, 2024. Drink: 2024-2032. (Mar 2024)"
