97 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The NV Extra-Brut Grand Cru Les Chantereines, this time based on the 2016 vintage and as usual derived from a parcel planted in 1922, is once again a highlight in this year's range. Wafting from the glass with aromas of peach, hazelnuts, dried flowers, buttery pastry, mocha and citrus oil, it's full-bodied, layered and sapid, with huge depth at the core, a beautifully fine-boned, racy profile and a long, penetrating finish. Slate, graphite, crushed rocks, lemon peel, sage, mint and dried herbs all race across the palate. There is no shortage of tension or power here, but the finish is especially closed today, so some patience is warranted. Dosage is 1.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 18, 2024. Drink: 2024-2032.
