96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 Beerenauslese from the Juffer-Sonnenuhr is another absolutely beautiful bottle in the making. The bouquet delivers an exotic blend of fresh lime, pineapple, tangerine, honey, citrus blossoms and again, a topnote of fresh mint. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, elegant in profile and simply dancing across the palate, with bottomless depth, great purity and precision, zesty acids and marvelous length and grip on the endless finish. Another great, great wine. 2022-2100. (Mar/Apr 2019)"
96 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "Penetrating prickling of lemon peel and horseradish joins dried quince and apricot on the nose. For all of this elixir’s aromatic forcefulness, it comes to the palate creamy and delicate. Nut pastes and salted caramel add mouthwateringly savor to citrus oils and dried fruits. A gently undulating rush of flavors informs a superbly sustained finish that manages not to forget Riesling’s duty to refresh, yet leaves behind palpitating salivary glands and a craving for the next sip. I can only imagine what this beauty’s TBA counterpart (still fermenting at the time I tasted) will bring to the table! Drink: 2020-2065. (Nov 2020)"
