95-96 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "From a 40-ar-plot with old vines in the top part of the porphyry cru, the 2021 Kupfergrube GG offers a very clear, precise and aromatic but also flinty bouquet with yellow-fleshed stone fruit aromas intertwined with notes of crushed stones. On the palate, this is a round and juicy yet also very elegant and delicate Riesling with great finesse and elegance but also a hedonistic character paired with stimulating salinity and crunchy structural elements. A gorgeous wine. Tasted as a sample at the domaine in July 2022. Drink: 2022-2050. (Aug 2022)"
95 points Fine Wine Review: "Pure, intense, deep, energetic, mineral. (8/22/22)"
94 points Ulrich Sautter (Falstaff): "The aroma is yeasty, peppery, with notes of leafy green, caraway and juniper. On the palate, the wine has a striking tension, acidity, phenolics and tactile-mineral notes form a block of extract that guarantees long-lasting refinement. Alcohol 12.5%. (11/21/22)"
