The wine proves superbly focused on the delicately herbal and taut palate. There is a fine touch of creamy presence on the mid-palate, yet the finish has huge length and precision. The yeast dissipates and reveals herbal notions of crushed St. John's Wort and ripe Amalfi lemon peel rubbed against salt and fennel seed. The palate is streamlined, taut, sleek, racy and cool.
