96 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Overwhelming, but not through raw power and much less through sheer volume. The combination of intensity, vibrancy, succulence and delicacy of this Spätlese must be tasted to be believed. I love the lemon-blossom character in the nose. Drink or hold. (6/25/18)"

95 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 10 18. The 2017er Graacher Domprobst Spätlese AP 10 delivers a most beautiful floral and smoky nose with elegant and refined scents of anise, yellow flowers, pear, orange blossom and smoke. The wine is very pure, straight and focused as a racy yet ripe acidity cuts through the palate. The intensity of this wine in the finish is just fascinating in its purity and elegance. What a fantastic Spätlese! 2027-2047. (Jun 2018)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2017 Domprobst Spätlese AP #10 is a superb wine in the making, but like all of the wines here in this vintage, a bit of cellaring is going to be very richly rewarded. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a nascently complex constellation of apple, pear, a fine base of slat, orange zest, a touch of iris blossom and citrus flowers in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, medium-full and shows lovely fruit on the attack, with a fine core, racy acids and a long, mineral-driven and snappy finish. This will be outstanding when it has started to show some secondary layers of complexity. It will be drinkable earlier, but I would try to leave this alone in the cellar for seven or eight years before drinking it in earnest, as there is an awful lot here lying below the surface. 2025-2075. (May/Jun 2018)"

94 points Stephan Reinhadt (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese (AP #10) is ripe and intense on the nose, though not as exuberant in its fruit aromas as it could be. There is still a yeasty layer on the nose at this early stage. The attack on the palate is racy-piquant, but the lush and clear fruit wraps around it immediately. This is a crystalline, straight, linear, very salty, mineral, complex and age-worthy Domprobst with a long, crunchy, salty-piquant finish. This is a deep and expressive Riesling of great class and style. A terroir wine par excellence. Tasted in March 2019. Drink: 2024-2050. (Jun 2019)"

93 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "Apple, pear and Meyer lemon mingle with high-toned hints of pistachio extract on both the penetrating nose and the luscious, silken palate. Here is a striking example of how high extract and alcoholic levity can be simultaneously conveyed. The superbly sustained finish features an almost electric expression of citrus acidity allied to persistently succulent pearsy sweetness and a rich undertone of cashew and pistachio. Drink: 2020-2040. (Apr 2020)"
