Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out with flamboyant notes of baked plums and kirsch, giving way to hints of crushed rocks, underbrush, licorice, and Indian spices. Red and black fruits, wildflowers, pepper, and exotic nuances of peach and orange blossom all emerge from this medium to full-bodied wine.
