It's powerful and unctuous certainly, but its black cherry and berry flavours are pristine, coating the palate in waves of satin and dustings of cocoa powder, chalk and ore. A complex yet hedonistic wine sourced from vines planted more than 30 years ago (into rock using a jackhammer) and aged for 33 months, predominantly in French barriques. Drinking Window: 2024-2040."
